The Kestra produces welding consumables for different segments, such as sugar cane , steel, oil , petrochemical, pulp and paper, agribusiness , cement , light and heavy metalworking , mining , oil and gas , among others.

Specially developed flux cored wire for superior sugar arcing on nodular and grey cast iron sugar mill crusher rolls, improving the gripping efficiency and increasing the feeding rates of the sugar cane.  It deposits hard abrasive, wear resistant globules of high alloy complex carbide weld metal with better results in relation to the conventional sugar mill spray electrodes and wires.

Deposit in the form of spray an alloy of chromium carbides dispersed in an austenitic matrix, with very high abrasive wear resistance, to be applied on the teeth of sugar cane mill feed rolls, improving the gripping properties and increasing the feed rates by 15 to 25 per cent. The arc can be opened under juice while the rolls are rotating in operation.
